This innovative pump efficiently transports liquids by harnessing the volumetric change between the intricately designed screw and bushing within the suction and discharge chambers.
Composition: The core components of this cutting-edge pump include a bushing (stator) featuring a sophisticated double-helix cavity and a precisely engineered single-helix screw. This advanced design ensures seamless meshing with the stator cavity, enabling optimal performance.

Working Principle

The screw is crafted with a single-start thread. Each cross-section of this masterpiece is a perfect circle with a radius of R. The center of this cross-section elegantly traces a helix, offset from the screw's axis by eccentricity e, creating a captivating spiral as it rotates axially.
The bushing's inner surface boasts a double-thread configuration. Each cross-section is an elongated circle, featuring semicircles with radius R (matching the screw's cross-section radius) at both ends, linked by a perfectly straight segment of length 4e in the middle.
Upon installation, the screw and bushing form enclosed chambers between the screw surface and the bushing's inner-thread surface. Each cross-section divides into two crescent-shaped working chambers. As the screw spins, the volume of the first working chamber near the suction chamber expands, generating negative pressure that draws liquid into the chamber. The ingenious design ensures as the screw continues to rotate, the chamber reaches maximum volume, closes, and propels the liquid axially towards the discharge chamber. Meanwhile, the upper and lower working chambers work in harmony, continuously sucking and discharging liquids, ensuring a seamless flow from the suction to discharge chamber.
