This innovative device elegantly transports liquids by skillfully leveraging the volumetric shifts between the intricately designed screw and the meticulously crafted bushing within the suction and discharge chambers.
Composition: At the heart of its operation are the pivotal components: a bushing (stator) featuring a sophisticated double-helix cavity, and a single-helix screw that seamlessly engages with the stator cavity, showcasing engineering precision at its finest.

Working Principle

The screw boasts a single-start thread, each cross-section a perfect circle with radius R. Its center, perched upon a helix, deviates from the screw's axis by a calculated eccentricity e. This forms a captivating spiral, achieved through its axial rotation.
The bushing's inner surface is adorned with a double-thread, each cross-section an elegant oblong circle. It features semicircles of radius R at both ends and a central straight-line segment measuring 4e, harmonizing in design with the screw.
When the screw is nestled within the bushing, closed chambers arise between the screw's surface and the bushing's inner-thread surface. Each cross-section is artfully divided into two crescent-shaped working chambers. As the screw spins, the first chamber's volume near the suction chamber gracefully expands, creating a negative pressure. This pressure differential draws the liquid into the chamber. As rotation persists, the chamber reaches its maximum volume, sealing the liquid within, which is then propelled axially towards the discharge chamber. The upper and lower working chambers alternately engage in suction and discharge, ensuring a seamless, continuous flow of liquid from the suction to the discharge chamber.
