Definition: The Yixite Single Screw Pump, also known as a helical rotor pump or mono pump, is a part of the rotary positive-displacement pump family. Expertly crafted to transport liquids, it harnesses the power of volumetric changes between the screw and the bushing within both the suction and discharge chambers.
Composition: At the heart of its operation, the pump boasts essential working components such as a bushing (stator) featuring a double-helix cavity, and a single-helix screw that seamlessly meshes with the stator cavity for optimal performance.

Working Principle

The innovative screw design features a single-start thread, where any cross-section reveals a circle of radius R. This circle's center is perfectly positioned on the helix, with a slight eccentricity e from the screw's axis, creating a dynamic spiral shape that rotates and moves axially with precision.
The bushing's inner surface showcases a double-thread design, with any cross-section appearing as an oblong circle. It contains semicircles of radius R (matching the screw's cross-section radius) at each end and a central straight-line segment of length 4e, ensuring seamless operation.
Once the screw is installed within the bushing, it forms enclosed chambers between the screw surface and the bushing's inner thread surface. These chambers, in any cross-section, split into two crescent-shaped working chambers. As the screw rotates, the first chamber's volume near the suction chamber increases, generating negative pressure to draw liquid into the chamber. Continued rotation closes this chamber at its maximum volume, propelling the liquid axially toward the discharge chamber. Simultaneously, upper and lower chambers alternately draw in and discharge liquids, ensuring a continuous axial transport from suction to discharge chamber.
