This marvel of engineering expertly transports liquids, utilizing the seamless volumetric interplay between the screw and the bushing within both the suction and discharge chambers.
Composition: At the heart of this innovative design lies the pivotal working components—a robust bushing (stator) featuring a double-helix cavity, and a meticulously crafted single-helix screw that harmoniously meshes within the stator cavity.

Working Principle

The screw is a masterpiece of design, boasting a single-start thread. Each cross-section is a perfect circle with a radius of R, strategically centered on the helix, deviating gracefully from the screw's axis by an eccentricity e, creating an elegant spiral as it rotates and moves along the axis.
The bushing's inner surface is elegantly adorned with a double-thread design. Each cross-section reveals an oblong circle, with semicircles at both ends, matching the screw's radius R, and a linear segment of length 4e connecting them.
When the screw finds its place within the bushing, it forms closed chambers between the screw surface and the bushing's inner-threaded surface. Each cross-section divides into two crescent-shaped working chambers. As the screw rotates, the first working chamber's volume near the suction chamber expands, creating a vacuum that draws liquid in. With continued rotation, once the chamber's volume peaks, it seals, pushing the liquid axially to the discharge chamber. This rhythmic dance of the upper and lower chambers ensures a continuous flow of liquid from the suction to the discharge chamber, along the axis.
