Its unique design features sliding vanes that extend and retract to create consistent suction and discharge, ensuring high efficiency and reliable performance.

Working Principle

Rotor & Vanes Assembly

The pump consists of a rotor mounted eccentrically inside a circular cavity (casing or cam ring).
Slotted vanes (usually made of carbon, graphite, or composite materials) are fitted into the rotor and slide in/out due to centrifugal force or spring pressure.
Chamber Formation

As the rotor turns, the vanes extend outward, contacting the inner wall of the casing, forming sealed chambers of varying sizes.
The eccentric design ensures these chambers expand and contract during rotation.
Suction Phase (Inlet)

When a chamber passes the inlet port, its volume increases, creating a vacuum that draws fluid into the pump.
Transfer Phase

The trapped fluid is carried around the casing as the rotor spins. The vanes maintain a tight seal against the casing, preventing backflow.
Discharge Phase (Outlet)

As the chamber approaches the outlet port, its volume decreases due to the eccentricity, compressing the fluid and forcing it out under pressure.
